Thanks for your answer. I have looped over the interactions container to print the current values of the phys.shearAdhesion and they are all zero. Is there something wrong when I defined the material? See below:

soil1 =
CohFrictMat(young=1e6,poisson=0.4,frictionAngle=0.15,density=2500.0,normalCohesion=1e6,
shearCohesion=80e6,label='soil')

Do I need to change other parameter besides shearAdhesion in the
interactions?
