Hi Ed,

1) if you export data form OpenFOAM, you can do whatever you want with them in Yade. I would guess simple text files would be the best option..
I didn't get your point with Paraview, could you please explain it a bit more?

2) I don't know OpenFOAM almost at all, but if I am not mistaken, it has
also Python interface. Then you can combine both softwares in Python. So
in principle it is possible, the specific usage would very much depends
on your requirements..
