Are you referring to a flexible membrane? I guess you would need to get
creative with your boundary conditions. There is no easy to implement
engine for flexible boundaries AFAIK. I guess WooDEM does support
flexible boundaries:

"Hi Fu, WooDEM (fork of yade) implements flexible membranes, as shown

I do not understand. The membrane is included in the soil?
