Hi,

we also have some kind of flexible membranes in Yade. For example, here
[1]  we simulated a pull-out test. The theory is published in [2].
Obviously in our approach the membrane needs to have a finite thickness.

Not sure what you mean by "plastic" and what exactly you want to
simulate.
