That's too many questions for me, sorry.
Simple answer: you did not show a problem with Box's, you showed a problem with Wall's (aabbWalls())
Walls are not Boxes. :)
This being said I would have expected this to work with walls too.

Could you please show the pfacet-box or pfacet-wall problem in a MWE
[1]?
