This is a reasonably request, but it's been about 9  months without
anyone working on it.  I'm going to move it into "Opinion / Wishlist"
which is a queue of older requests.  This can be reopened later if
someone is interested in working on it.  Thanks!

  [feature] description field in instance list

Bug description:
  Hi,

  we're about to use OpenStack more and more in production, and when
  finally fully migrated, we'll have 50+ compute nodes, however, one
  thing we are really really missing is some "description" field/column
  in the list of existing instances.

  This might also require a new database field, ideally, I know, and
  yet, this is a really demanding feature, requested by our devs (who
  are actually the users of  the cloud) :-)

  I also think that might be a great addition and helpful to more
  people, too.
