Title:
  Update Resource Details not implemented in vmware for ESX as
  hypervisor

Status in OpenStack Compute (Nova):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  We are currently using ESXi hypervisor with Nova Essex setup.

  update_available_resource method:
  This method updates compute manager resource info on ComputeNode table.

  The above method is supported only by libvirt and not implemented in
  vmware where ESXi is the hypervisor.

  This does not update the ComputeNode table and hence the resource
  information is not obtained when ESXi is used.
