Title:
  Image Caching not implemented in nova for ESXi hypervisor

Status in OpenStack Compute (Nova):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  We are using ESXi as hypervisor with nova essex setup.

  Image caching for fast booting of an instance is implemented in kvm and xenapi hypervisors from the end of nova.
  But the same is not implemented where ESXi is the hypervisor.

  This results in the copy of image from glance to ESX server always and
  increases the time of provisioning.

  Hence a solution on image caching in nova on ESX would be helpful for
  quick provisioning of instance.
