Title:
Cannot download EC2 credentials unless user has admin role
Status in OpenStack Identity (Keystone):
Invalid
Bug description:
Folsom deployment.
Noticed users were having issues downloading EC2 credentials via
Horizon, and after some initial confusion on my part, I figured out
(thx Dolph!) that the download EC2 credentials call was in fact a call
to Keystone on the EC2 API extension, and not a call on the Compute
API.
Anyway, investigating further, I found that only users with the admin
role assigned were able to download their EC2 credentials. For all
other users, an EndpointNotFound error appeared in the Horizon/apache2
log, though no information about *which* endpoint was not found...
(note: might be nice to put that kind of information in the error
message).
Anybody have any ideas? Most likely some configuration thing on my
end, I presume, but I'm stumped. My endpoint list looks like this:
