Message #11872
[Bug 1295103] [NEW] GATEWAY is not set in RHEL /etc/sysconfig/network file
Public bug reported:
When using cloud-init 0.7.4.2 with RHEL 6.5, it does not update the
GATEWAY parameter in /etc/sysconfig/network file. It updates the ifcfg-
eth0 file with the required network details except DNS. But for the
gateway to set, the new gateway has to be updated in
/etc/sysconfig/network file. cloud-init currently updates only the
NETWORKING and HOSTNAME parameter in /etc/sysconfig/network, NOT the
GATEWAY value, so the deployed VM does not have a gateway set.
** Affects: cloud-init
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
