[Bug 1382081] [NEW] IPv6 address not assigned to vNIC

 

Public bug reported:

Create pure v6 network with SLAAC option, run instance on it. eth0 of VM gets link-local IPV6 address only, while OS reports valid
IPv6 address.

Requested subnet:
6-slacc 2014::/64	IPv6	2014::1
Port on it:
(4013107e) 2014::f816:3eff:fe66:35f8 compute:nova	ACTIVE	UP

ip a in instance gives:
eth0:
   inet6 :  fe80::f816:3eff:fe66:35f8
