We don't have any functional testing for this API extension:

There are unit tests:

http://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack/nova/tree/nova/tests/unit/api/openstack/compute/contrib/test_volumes.py?id=2015.1.0b3#n125

But no functional tests, which is kind of bad especially given we don't
have any test coverage in Tempest since the test_volume_boot_pattern
scenario test is skipped due to bug 1373513.
