I'm not sure how Glance can fix this. I'll close, feel free to reopen
and give us more details as well as a reproducer.

  useless configuration options in 'nova.conf'

Bug description:
  I was trying to add a retry for glance operations via nova. I came
  across below options defined in the conf:

  [glance]
  ..
  #connect_retries = <None>
  #connect_retry_delay = <None>
  #status_code_retries = <None>
  #status_code_retry_delay = <None>
  =======================================

  I tried to set some value for `connect_retries` and tried to reproduce a connection error for the snapshot upload. Somehow the `connect_retries` value is not getting picked up. I tried to search these options in 
  the code also(nova/nova/conf/glance.py), but could not find them.

  let me know if this is a known issue. could not find any duplicate bug
  for this.
