Nothing is done now, we assume single user use of the application. You
can of course use e.g. bazaar or ubuntu-one or similar systems to do
merge diverging version but this is not supported in the zin user
interface.

That is not related to the syncing you refer to above. In your case
you don't have diverging versions of the same page, the page is
generated by the script and -I assume- never edited manually. The only
conflict you can see is when you edited a generated page by accident -
this can be prevented by making either the generated pages or the
whole notebook read-only.

You will see that zim may not directly see all changes you make to the
notebook. Occasionally you may need to run the "update index" from the
tools item. However in most cases zim will detect the changes when you
access the page in question.
