Re: Additional states for checkboxes
I am concerned an additional state would not be very intuitive. However, I share a similar interest in filtering some items from the task list. In the past (Zim .59) an alternative I used was a specific priority method and a minor tweak to the task list plugin.
There is an existing feature in the Task List dialog to "Only Show Actionable Tasks" that is based on labels and tags. See:
http://zim-wiki.org/manual/Plugins/Task_List.html
I don't really like explicitly tagging or labeling everything that I might NOT do but I do tend prioritize everything that I WILL do. To support this, I modified the task list plugin to identify non-actionable items as anything with a priority of 0. Enabling the "Only Show Actionable Tasks" options all 0 priority tasks are filtered.

Subject: Re: [Zim-wiki] Additional states for checkboxes
Hi all,
that sounds similar to a state "in progress" that I would find very convenient. Alternatively, a hint about how / where to define these states and icons would be very much appreciated as well.
Thanks and best wishes,
Hella
