I have trouble with wifi on the AC100 10V, too. After connecting to an 
AP it works for a few seconds and then stalls. Sometimes it is working 
again after a minute or so.
I've tried two different Fritz!Box APs and my Android phone via 
Tethering (USB tethering works fine though).

I think there is nothing wrong with the hardware, but the rt2800usb 
seems immature as I had a lot of problems with it in the past on my 
desktop PC which uses an rt2800usb device, too (which currently works 
more or less).

A typical log looks like:

Note: I'm using oneric with the oneric-proposed kernel, but it was not
