Re: further problems 3810t ubuntu 64
In volume control preferences I've checked:
Master, PCM, Front, Front Mic, Front Mic Boost, Capture, Headphone, Input
source
For device HDA Intel (Alsa mixer) and
Volume and PCM-2
For device Intel G45 DEVTG (OSS Mixer)
Then in volume control for device HDA Intel (Alsa mixer), I made sure all
sliders (except front mic boost which expectedly, caused the speakers to
hiss) were pushed near the top and ensured everything was un-muted. This is
probably overkill but, you can reduce volumes or mute channels by trial and
error if necessary.
On the Options tab I selected the "Int Mic" as input source.
Skype was set to use default sound devices.
Hope that helps,
Rod.
