Re: Bluetooth stopped working

Did anyone else notice that Bluetooth stopped working with linux 2.6.33 and higher?

I tried to reproduce the kernel config of my (customized) 2.6.32 kernel where bt works just fine. But anything after .33 doesn't detect the bt chip (as per lsusb -v). I also tried Ubuntu's (.33) vanilla kernels without success.

Am I being stupid? Google yields no helpful results.

It turns out the acer_wmi module isn't auto-loaded anymore. I added it to /etc/modules and bluetooth works again (well, somewhat anyway).

Best regards.
