Hi,

But my network stays disabled even after reboot.
Running hwlist or something shows the hardware but also says it is disabled.
I don't know how to enable it now. Nm-applet does not show up either.

Networking is disabled cause of your failed suspend. You can easily
enable it with a right click on the networkmanager applet.
Suspend doesn't work for me either. So disable the suspend options in
the power management options.
