Microsoft office documents can de opened using many office suites. If not all. and putting that kind of info into a txt or something like that would be inpractical. It would be best an online form. You enter the asus website and fill the form and sent it right away. No need to contact support for them to send you the forms.

Well, let's say they are trying to, but htey are heading in the right
direction based on this (single) experience, which is good. On the other
hand, sending Microsoft Office documents to someone who is trying to get
his Windows license refunded, does not make me think that enough time
has been spent on thinking on this process.

And finally, in a better world, hardware vendors would not sell
computers bundled with proprietary software licenses in the first place.
But we're not just there, yet, and that's not only (but also) an Asus issue.
