Re: Failed to get nvidia card working using Bios work around

 

If you have a xorg.conf then you likely DONT have the new xorg version, the
new xorg splits the xorg.conf in several files.

If you are using a xorg.conf then you most likely can make your xorg.conf
work with this command:

sudo nvidia-xconfig

That will make a new xorg.conf and configure it accordingly. Make sure you
have the SATA set to compatible and you should be set.
