Whenever Birdie (granite) starts, it shows I have x new mentions where x
corresponds to the total number of mentions I have (not just the unread
ones). So apparently, a mention's unread-tag is not removed whenever the
mention is 'reviewed'.

Using birdie-granite 2.1 trunk
