[Bug 777921] Re: Phone Call associated with lead doesn't populate lead history

 

Hello David

I have checked your issue, but unfortunately the communication and history of a lead will only be updated by the following:
1. If you change the state.
2. If you update the stage.
3. If you send an e-mail.
4. If you add internal note.

Phone call  is only the act window and it doesn't effect the current lead form.
So I am closing this bug.

  Phone Call associated with lead doesn't populate lead history

Bug description:
  Server 6.0.2
  Web Client 6.0.2

  Description
  From a lead - want to record an outbound phone call placed to the lead - and see the phone call show up in the Communication & History of the lead.

  To recreate issue.
  1) open an existing lead
  2) click on the phone call link
  3) enter phone call information - making sure opportunity field is populated
  4) save the phone call
  5) navigate back to the lead record and look in communication history - no entry for the phone call is made.

  Expected result
  Step 5 - phone call history is displayed in the communication history of the lead on an associated opportunity/lead
