[Bug 845259] Re: Cost for manufactured items
A manufactured product is typically a combination of raw materials (ie
products) and labour. The finished manufactured cost should reflect both
of these components.
When the manufactured item has a costing method of average cost, the
cost ex manufacture should obviously reflect the two cost elements - ie
products consumed in the MO plus any time allocated to the MO.
In a BOM you can identify the labour component as a product - when the
SO is processed a task is created in the normal way - as this task is
completed, the costs associated should be added to the cost of the
manufactured item.
In the MO screen the products consumed are displayed but the task
created is not displayed.

Title:
Cost for manufactured items
Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
Incomplete
Bug description:
Based on 6.0.2 Anglo-Saxon
Manufactured product with costing method = average price. Made a
product - updated SOH but cost not updated.
Also, if a manufactured product is a combination of products and
services (ie the labour involved in manufacturing) I can see the task
being created but how is that time captured in the manufacturing order
(and should be included in costs updated)
