the main ideas of the kanban view is be able to drop data from one stage
to another. Inn our kanban view, it is posible to drop but the record is
not saved

example :

in opportunities kanban view, you have 4 columns : New, Qualification, Proposition, Negociation 
a record is new and you drop the record from the "new" column" to the "qualification" one -> the stage of the record should be also changed  and saved
