Action Item Tracking Proposal

Hello All,

I thought I'd pass this along. This is a very simple method of action
item tracking. It's origin is from a business process designed by Ford
Motor Company called the 8D process for problem resolution. It was used
to manage both external suppliers as well as internal business.

Its Called the "W3", short for: Who, What and When

I've not locked the format or anything and there is nothing written in
stone, we can modify it to suit our needs.

The main point of this is, to capture the our, and assign them to
individuals so we're not duplicating efforts or forgetting about
critical items that need to happen before a release; things of that nature.

I realize Launchpad can do some of this, but this document can be saved
to the Dropbox shared folder and everyone can grab it and update as &
when needed.

The file name can match the next goal we are working toward, for instance:

c4c-desktop-14.04.3.ods..: would be for the 14.04.3 Point Release
c4c-desktop-14.04.4.ods..: would be for the 14.04.4 Point Release
c4c-desktop-16.04.ods....: would be for the 16.04 Initial Release

We could, and probably should tie / match these sheets to the Series /
Milestone Goals and this could provide the specifications for Blueprints.

Like I said, I just quickly threw this together this morning, we an make
it allot more functional, but this should suffice for illustrating the
concept.

Thoughts ??

best regards,

Greg
