[Bug 1072699] Re: Notifications for skype messages and status

Well,

Ending the /usr/lib/indicator-application/indicator-application-service
cairo debug window (and cairo itself) becomes insensible to every skype
events. I decided to try to kill the other indicator-application-service
but I don't know the way to do that..

Just for comparison I've tried to see if AWN gives the same issues with
latest skype. No, it doesn't. AWN shows correctly the skype icons.

SOmething strange has happened when I've launched Cairo with Skype still running.
Here are some key rows in the debug window:
===   ID 'skype'
debug   :  (/build/buildd/cairo-dock-plug-ins-3.1.1/Status-Notifier/src/applet-item.c:cd_satus_notifier_create_item:477)
  ===   IconName 'skype_3398_602c84fa0f4d61c64f770495a500279e'
debug   :  (/build/buildd/cairo-dock-plug-ins-3.1.1/Status-Notifier/src/applet-item.c:cd_satus_notifier_create_item:485)
  ===   IconThemePath '/tmp/sni-qt_skype_3398-ZVZW8D/icons'

The two variables now seem correct.. and the skype icons show correctly
in the notification area!!

I think that now there are sufficient information to manage this bug..
or not? :)

Title:
  Notifications for skype messages and status

Status in Cairo-Dock: Plug-ins:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  My skype icon on the notification area stays always off-line and doesn't reflect the real skype status.
  Oddly when Skype logs-out it breaks cpu-freqindicator icons on notification area and cleans the icons within quick browser plug-in.
  In attachment a screenshot with the permanently blank skype icon and the output of dbus-monitor starting from skype launch till successfully log-in.
