** Description changed:

  The workaround for bug 1572026 [0] injects iptables commands into
  autopkgtest test bed setup.
  
  This is problematic because it leads to test failures for system tests
  making use of nft [1][2][3][4].
  
- Can the problem be solved in a different way so that the iptables
- command injection can be removed?
