[Bug 538220] [NEW] panel auto hide kills compiz previews when window is closed or minimized

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

I am using gnome auto-hide panels on my laptop. After activating auto
hide, window preview stopped working after I minimize or close a window.
It will begin working again after I click on one of the window list
buttons.

For example, currently I am working in Firefox with a Nautilus and a
movie also open, but out of focus. When I run my mouse to the panel it
unhides and as I mouse over the buttons it displays the name of the
window next to the cursor, but no previews. If I change focus my
clicking on one of the buttons, the preview shows up immediately.
Previews will then work until I click on minimize window or if I click
on close window, then it stops working until I click on one of the
buttons again.

No errors are produced, and I'm unsure of the location of the log file
for panel.

Ubuntu Karmic 64 bit, propriety ATI graphics driver.
