[Bug 879395] [NEW] gedit doesn't show anything when maximized

Public bug reported:

after updating to ubuntu 11.10 I finaly get unity (I diabled it in 11.04).
When I maximize certain applications, gedit is one of them, they don't show any data,
only the titlebar. I can type text in gedit and see how titelbar indicates changes with *,
but I don't se any text, or menu. After restoring size, I can see typed text and menu,
maximizing again leads to white screen again.

** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
