Public bug reported:

When you open the dash over a fullscreen windows (by pressing the meta
key),  you can type in it, use the arrows, press enter;  you can't,
however, interact with it with a mouse - the clicks get received by the
underlying fullscreen window.

Happens in: 12.04 (haven't tried in earlier versions)
Currently installed version of compiz: 1:0.9.7.6-0ubuntu1
