Thanks a lot for the report. I'm not able to compile XeTeX either (it
neither works on Linux nor or Mac OS X), but I hope that Jonathan or
Thanh will fix the problem (not even pdfTeX compiles on Hans' Linux
machine since recently).

Once you have time, please send the logs to them (or do whatever might
be needed to debug if you are skilled in that).

Just a notice to all the other binary builders: as long as problems
persist, you may find it handy to patch the following line in
do_all.sh, for example:
    do_cmd   "..." ./bin_build.sh --platform=$platform
--engines=metapost,luatex,pdftex

Valid arguments for --engines are metapost, pdftex, xetex, luatex,
luatex_trunk. I excluded pdftex and xetex since compilation for both
of them is broken on linux and luatex_trunk is not really used
anywhere (it will soon fly away).
