[Bug 829009] [NEW] Xchat-Gnome leaks filehandles

 

Public bug reported:

xchat-gnome keeps crashing or just not working when open for a few weeks
at a time cause it uses up all it's 1024 file handles.

This patch seems to fix the issue.
