[Bug 1450207] [NEW] [XPS13 9333, Intel Haswell HDMI, Digital Out, HDMI] volume slider problem
Public bug reported:
When starting Ubuntu from boot-up, sometimes the F11 and F12 keys have
no effect on the sound volume, even though it can be controlled by the
slider in the Sound window.
This can often be restored by re-booting the OS.
When the F11 and F12 keys are working as expected, a "pop" is heard in
the speakers indicating a change of volume level. The output volume
slider in the Sound window has the same effect. However, when adjusting
the volume using the slider in the pull-down menu at the top right of
the desktop, the sound level is adjusted as seen by the slider moving in
the Sound window. However, this produces no audible "pop" as occurs when
the volume level is adjusted by other methods.
