Public bug reported:

The initial screen with the worm graphic loads, then the window stops
changing.  Menus still function, but when they're closed their images
remain on the window.  When another window is opened over the Nibbles
window and then the game window is brought back to front, it shows a
blank grey background where the overlap was.
