[Bug 879580] [NEW] Libre Office indicates an intent to start but then forgets

Public bug reported:

When I attempt to open Libre Office or try to open a saved file, the
start-up box appears for several seconds, but then it goes away with no
program opening. When I enter "libreoffice" into terminal, I get the
following output:

librenathan@nathan-laptop:~$ libreoffice
Bus error
nathan@nathan-laptop:~$

I know there's already one report of this from an earlier user, but mine
started happening when I replaced Ubuntu 11.04 with Ubuntu 11.10.
Before the update, Libre Office worked fine.

** Affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
