[Bug 881284] [NEW] Wired ICS constantly reconnecting

Public bug reported:

I often find myself using my laptop to supply internet connection to my other computer which does not have a wireless interface.
When I use Ubuntu 11.10 for this it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting frantically and constantly.
The wired connection is set to "Shared to other computers". Have seen this issue on at least one other machine besides mine so far.
