[Bug 887817] [NEW] Cannot delete letters when searching for files/directories

 

Public bug reported:

Steps to reproduce:

1.)  Open a nautilus window.
2)  Click on a folder and then begin typing to search for directory by name
3.)  Press Backspace to try to delete a character or two from the search box.
 
Expected behavior:  The character is deleted, allowing you to back up and change the search word.

Actual behavior:  Nautilus navigates back one directory, with the search
box still active.
