BTW, I tested this property again and it doesn't work on Ubuntu 10.10
and HP Elitebook 8440p

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

  Have two fully charged batteries on your laptop. Let the expansion
  battery on your laptop run out of power. Watch your laptop power down
  with still 50% charge left.

  Ubuntu Edgy: IBM Thinkpad X40.
