[Bug 891685] [NEW] Multiple entries on network connection when changing wireless security

Public bug reported:

See the attached shot. What happened was that I changed the wireless
security of "eduroam" (to correct an error) and now I have two entry for
it. At the same time, the system manager switched on protection for
eduroam-guest, and now I have the two listed.

iwlist wlan0 scan show the multiple AP of the two networks:

(0)romano-asus:~% iwlist wlan0 scan | grep ESSID
                    ESSID:"eduroam"
                    ESSID:"eduroam"
                    ESSID:"eduroam-guest"
                    ESSID:"eduroam-guest"
                    ESSID:"eduroam-guest"
