[Bug 901374] [NEW] Images are often faded

 

Public bug reported:

When I open a pgn or jpg picture in eog, it often shows the images "faded". 
The pictures itself are flawless and can be shown in GIMP, web browsers, media players (CD-covers) etc.

I added a snapshot.
