[Bug 921518] Re: network manager icon is refreshing all the time
Jan 25 11:33:24 precise-test dhclient: DHCPDISCOVER on eth1 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 17
Jan 25 11:33:24 precise-test NetworkManager[1034]: <warn> (eth1): DHCPv4 request timed out.
Whatever eth1 is connected to never gives out an IP address. You should
either disconnect the cable connected to that interface, or try to set a
static IP address.
Since this is not a bug, I'm closing this report as Invalid. Please
don't hesitate to set this back to New and add extra information if you
think we're misinterpreting, or to file a new bug report for any future
issues you may find.
Thanks!

Title:
network manager icon is refreshing all the time
Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
The problem occurs with ubuntu 11.10 as well and I don't know about former versions.
The problem occurs with fedora 16 as well.
My network card has two ethernet connections with wired connection 1 and wired connection 2
I am using wired connection 2 only.
The applet connects and disconnects all the time with a notify-osd
notification which is very annoying because I have a notification
every 2 minutes.
