[Bug 921995] [NEW] lightdm doesn't start: Maximum number of clients reached
Public bug reported:
I can't load the users login screen.
lightdm seems have a problem because the screen is blinking
continuously.
After a lot of blinkings, I can login into terminal using Ctrl+Alt+F2
and try to start it manually, but I get the error:
Maximum number of clients reached.
I'm, using now other computer to send this bug.
Using Ubuntu 12.04 with kernel 3.2.0-10-generic-pae June 24 17:58:07 UTC
lightdm version is 1.1.1-0ubuntu3
If I try to launch startx with my user I can load the desktop but not
the Unity panel nor sidebar.
Thanks.
Lito.
