[Bug 1393281] [NEW] Print settings window reports "Print service is unavailable - Bad file descriptor" until cups is restarted

In the KDE Print Settings window, there are no settings (as expected) but a message reading "Print service is unavailable - Bad file descriptor":

When I restart the cups service, all is well and I can see print
settings.

Kubuntu 14.10

$ apt-cache policy cups
