[Bug 1649240] Re: "enter special characters" page refers to missing and incorrect things

Hi, thanks for the quick answer.

I use the Māori keyboard layout (which is just a generic US-Intl or
similar layout with ready access to macrons.) It used to be that there
was an option somewhere that enabled the euro symbol on the altgr+4, and
it works on another computer but was configured before the 16.10
upgrade, so I was searching around for how to turn it on on this one but
can't find it (and found the errors in the documentation while doing
so.)

https://www.pcsteps.com/4669-type-the-euro-sign-linux-mint-ubuntu/

these are old instructions that used to work, but the options have gone.
I can type compose-e-=, but euro is frequently enough used that it would
be nice to have it on altgr-4 rather than ¼, which I never use.

Title:
"enter special characters" page refers to missing and incorrect things

Status in ubuntu-docs package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  This page:

  https://help.ubuntu.com/stable/ubuntu-help/tips-specialchars.html

  Has the instructions:

      *Define a compose key*

Click the icon at the very right of the menu bar and select System
  Settings.

      Click Keyboard Layout.

There is no option called keyboard layout. There is "keyboard" and
  there is "text entry."

      Click Options.

Neither "keyboard" nor "text entry" have anything called "options."

my use-case here is trying to get AltGr-4 to give me the euro symbol,
which I'm sure was possible in earlier Ubuntu versions.
