Since we've decided to move from Octave/MATLAB + OpenDX to
Mayavi/ParaView as the default tools for visualization, we should
change the file format in all the modules and demos to VTK. Then we
can also remove all the symlinks that we create during make (in
src/post/post.sh).

We can update as we go along or if someone wants to update all modules
and check that the visualization works ok for all demos in ParaView.
