I have created an experimental Windows installer, which may be found at
http://packages.simula.no/win32/FEniCS-8.06++-win32.exe (includes most of
the FEniCS packages). If anyone wants to try it out, simply download and
double-click the file and follow the instructions. The only requirements
are Python (http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.5.2/python-2.5.2.msi) and

The DOLFIN demos are available in <prefix>\share\dolfin\demo, but don't
expect everyone to run smoothly. This is mostly due to bugs in

I tried it and it seems to work. I could plot a mesh in Windows XP.
But it was a horrible experience! Are people actually using that crap?
Everything takes forever to load, there's only one workspace, it hangs
when shutting down, tons of popups warning me about virus databases
that need to be updated, ugly icons, etc etc.
