[Bug 1246662] [NEW] Gnome Shell won't lock and ask for password when sssd auth is used

 

Public bug reported:

I use sssd to authenticate users, and due to a change introduced in
accountsservice on unlock, the desktop is shown immediately wqith no
password entry.

Upstream has a patch here:

Please apply ASAP. I tested the patch with a dpkg-buildpackage local
install. It works.
