Hi,

I modified the Welcome widget to add support for smaller items and 
title. It could be used for Recent Files (or contact, or whatever). I 
post that here because I think some design advices would be good.

There is a demo executable (which should be completed with the other 
widgets later). I also fixed the tabs/spaces problem, and I added some 
documentation for the widget. The code is in 
lp:~elementaryart/granite/welcome-screen.
