I found https://www.bountysource.com/trackers/179557-elementary-os 
which has $100 in bounties.

One real deal breaker for me (to the point where I'd buy a new Mac 
instead) is spell checking. This is a 2-part issue:

1. Webkit-gtk needs the word to be selected before showing anything. 
Affects Midori, Geary and more.

2. Nowhere did I find an option to switch language. All my Dutch text 
is underlined in red. Affects everything but Firefox and Abiword which 
have their own dictionaries.
